Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Systems Sales Consultant to join our fire business unit.
This role will cover Rockland Orange Ulster & Sullivan Counties.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Investigate and uncover new opportunities for the sale of fire alarm and/or security systems along with aftermarket services
  • This position requires sales activity including:
    • Calling on electrical contractors general contractors property owners portfolio managers local business owners etc.
    • Calling on existing customer base
    • Calling on electrical engineers and architects
    • Following up on company provided leads
    • Utilizing and following up with online lead services
    • Following up on selfgenerated leads
  • Goal is to close sales of company approved equipment/services making sure estimate meets the project specification and the AFA pricing guidelines
Basic Qualifications:
  • 5 years of sales experience preferably in the commercial development industry
  • 5 years of experience establishing a client base: Proven successful history of relationship development lead generation and selling design concepts/ideas
  • Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven history of sales success: Experience identifying and developing new business opportunities
  • Experience building a network of business relationships: Ability to create sales opportunities by working with A&D (Architecture & Design) real estate and construction companies
  • Innovative selfstarter: Confidence and ability to represent Pavion professionally and ethically to gain high levels of confidence
  • Excellent problemsolving skills: Strong meeting facilitation skills
  • Ability to lead change: Handle multiple projects in a fastpaced environment effectively
  • Bachelors degree
  • NICET certification a plus
