This is a fulltime 10 month contractposition.

The Manager Learning Experiences of the Forum for Change reports tothe Director Forum for Change and leads the Global Experience Program andcoordinates student initiatives across the Upper School. This role supports thedesign and implementation of dynamic futureready learning experiences thatfoster Havergals Global Competencies and deepen students understanding ofPeople Perspective Partnership and Place. Working closely with Forum forChange colleagues faculty and students the Manager builds capacity acrossthe community to live the schools values: integrity inquiry courage andcompassion.
Specific Accountabilities:
- Support the Director Forum for Change in the development of Global Programming broadly:
- Global Experience and the GlobalLearning Projects programming.
- Round Square programming.
- Faculty and Risk mitigationsupport PD for our trip leaders.
- Studenttraining for participating in Global Programming.
- Mentoring the Forumfor Change Council and Prefect.
- Develop and implement programming for Havergals GlobalCompetencies:
- Global competency curriculum education across the school community.
- Integration with other frameworksfrom Equity Diversity Belonging andInclusion (EDIB)Wellbeing Leadership and Teaching and Learning.
- Creation of modules that bringthese competencies to life for our students involved in Global LearningProjects and Round Square programming.
- Support of faculty professionaldevelopment (PD) withthese global competencies.
- Preparation of annual reporting.
- Manage UNESCO programming and membership by:
- Supportingthe programing of the Sustainability Council and Prefect.
- Attendingmonthly UNESCO meetings.
- Coordinate Students Act Now programming by:
- Servingas the First point of contact for assessing and supporting student initiativesintake.
- Coordinatingwith Upper School Student committee on student involvement and initiatives.
- Lead thedevelopment and management of flagship/magnet specialty experiential programsunder development.
- Communicateprogramming to the broader community.
- Support asappropriate the other programs of the Forum for Change.
- Thisrole works closely with students and faculty in the development implementationand evaluation of programming. They are also working with thirdparty partnersand parents on external program offerings.
Qualifications Knowledge and Experience
- A practice ofand within intercultural competencies and global partnerships;
- A provenpractice of global education including risk management and development ofintentional high quality global experiences including travel and supervision;
- Relevantuniversity qualifications at the Bachelor level;
- A minimum of3 years exemplary and/or related teaching experience;
- Experience inproject management is an asset;
- Experience inan independent school is an asset;
- Enthusiasm towork from the disposition of People Partnership Perspective and Place;
- A commitmenttoward continued professional development and growth;
- Stronginterpersonal organizational timemanagement and communication skills;
- Able to workin a selfdirected manner appropriate to changing needs;
- A provencommitment to working successfully in collaborative environments both face toface and virtually with students and colleagues;
- Energycommitment and a readiness to participate in the cocurricular program thediverse life of the school community;
