The Opportunity
CAA Atlantic is currently seeking an experienced Emergency Roadside Service Technician for our Charlottetown Prince Edward Island (PE) location. As an Emergency Roadside Assistance Technician you will be responsible for delivering prompt and effective roadside support our CAA members who are experiencing vehicle breakdowns accidents or other emergencies. This role involves identifying vehicle issues performing onsceene services and towing. This role presents the opportunity to support and work with our members on a daily basis. In 2024 CAA Atlantic serviced over 154000 Emergency Roadside Service calls! This position is commencing immediately.
This position follows a shift rotation schedule: 4 days on followed by 4 days off 12 hour shifts.

This is the perfect opportunity for you if:
- You have experience driving larger vehicles including tow trucks buses cube vans or other similar larger vehicles.
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Do you change your own oil
- Likes to work on their own vehicles
- Generally known as a handyperson

What youll need
Qualifications
- Able to work the following rotation: 4 days on followed by 4 days off 12 hour shifts.
- Exceptional commitment to customer service
- Commitment to working as part of a team
- Ability to work unsupervised and in difficult conditions
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Relevant work experience in Customer Service and / or Automotive related experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude preferred but not essential
- Class 5 Licence with Air Brake Endorsements preferred but not required
- Bilingualism considered an asset
