About the team
The Financial Data team is the single source of truth for all financial data in Stripe. Engineers on the Financial Data team build platforms tools and products to ensure that Stripes financial data is complete accurate timely and gives business leaders financial insights based on which business decisions are made. It supports data consumers like Accounting Treasury Revenue and Cost. The use cases include financial forecasting financial data analytics & business intelligence compliance reporting reconciliation and auditing & compliance.

Were looking for people with a strong background or interest in building successful products or systems; youre passionate about data you are comfortable in dealing with lots of moving pieces; and youre comfortable learning new technologies and systems.
Responsibilities
- Operationalize and execute on key cross functional programs spanning all engineering organizations including managing Operation Reviews driving efficiencies in capacity governance and launch reviews
- Partner with Engineering Managers and Technical Program Managers to define scope and improve the operational needs within the teams
- Define and standardize documentation and communication processes
- Develop implement and iterate on program management procedures frameworks and metrics to achieve goals with defined success criteria
- Develop define and report on program health and success metrics
- Leverage data to drive strategic decisions and reporting at the leadership level
- Create canonical documentation of plans and processes driving consistency and alignment across teams

Minimum Requirements
- 5 years of software engineering systems engineering or technical product/program management experience
- You are not satisfied with just delivering a program on timeyou are discerning about product/infrastructure architecture and obsessed with quality reliability & correctness
- You have a track record of providing program management during all phases of software development from kickoff to ship demonstrating critical thinking and thought leadership
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills building strong relationships with stakeholders and teams around the organization
- You can drive internal and external process improvements across multiple teams and functions
- Experience operating autonomously and leading largescale efforts across multiple teams and functions with stakeholders in different disciplines across time zones
- Analytical and problemsolving experience with largescale platforms infrastructure and organizations
- Experience leading initiatives with a global footprint having built APIs products and complex systems/infrastructure at scale
