The Embassy Suites by Hilton Milpitas Silicon Valley is looking for their next PartTime Room Attendant to join their housekeeping team!
Our hotel consists of 267 suites and sits right off I680 11 miles from Silicon Valley and San Jose. Were 10 minutes from the Great Mall and 20 minutes from Levis Stadium. Which makes it a great centralized location to work. In this role you would be working with a great team and be able to gain great working experience within the hospitality field.
Classification: PartTime
Shift: Mornings and Swing must have availability to work weekends and holidays
Hourly rate: $19.50
The ideal candidate for this role will possess:
- Hospitable and Friendly demeanor to service our guests
- Previous housekeeping/janitorial experience preferred but otherwise will train on site
- A team player with positive attitude
What will I be doing
As a Room Attendant you would be responsible for cleaning guest rooms and responding to guest requests in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Clean guest rooms as assigned including but not limited to making beds cleaning bathrooms dusting and vacuuming
- Change and replenish bed linens towels and guest amenities as needed
- Perform deep cleaning tasks as needed
- Stock maintain and transport housekeeping supply cart on a daily basis
- Dispose of trash and recyclables
- Respond to special guest requests in a timely friendly and efficient manner
- Perform guest turn down service as needed
