Hampton Lumber is a familyowned wood products company headquartered in Portland Oregon. With over 1700 employees we operate ten sawmills in Western Oregon Washington and British Columbia. We also manage timberland and operate a wholesale and export division. Overview
The position of Summer Helper has a primary function to assist with summer clean up activities and outdoor facility maintenance projects. The individual in this position will work under the Log Yard Supervisor and will be asked to perform the following tasks; drive water truck eating painting pressure washing etc.
Shift: Days/Swing MonFriday. Hours will be assigned at time of hire.
Wage is $22.66 hour
Responsibilities
- Outdoor facility cleanup and maintenance projects
- Assist with dust mitigation (drive water truck)
- Maintain a safe environment andcomply with allsafety policies and procedures
- Apply good housekeeping standards to your work area or any area you observe
Qualifications
- Students are encouraged to apply and will be given priority. (Must be 18 years of age)
- Completion ofhighschool or equivalent preferred but not required
- Must be able to safely work at a moderate to fast pace
- Lifting is 2030 pounds on a continuous basis
- Must be willing to learn new skills
- Be a team player and selfstarter
