The Food Service Supervisor oversees the daily operations of school cafeterias and meal programs ensuring compliance with federal state and local nutrition guidelines. This role involves managing staff maintaining food safety standards ordering supplies planning menus and ensuring students receive nutritious appealing meals in a safe and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise cafeteria staff including scheduling training and performance evaluations.
Oversee food preparation and serving to ensure quality portion control and adherence to health and safety regulations.
Plan and review menus in accordance with USDA school meal requirements and district nutrition goals.
Maintain accurate records for inventory meal counts and compliance documentation.
Ensure all equipment is clean safe and maintained according to guidelines.
Monitor budgetary and cost controls for efficient food service operations.
Collaborate with administrators vendors and other departments to support schoolwide initiatives.
Promote healthy eating habits through student engagement and nutritional education.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalentrequired.
Strong leadership organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple priorities.
