Role Overview:
The Sr. Business Operations Associate Vehicle Team drives success of the vehicle repair programs. Partnering closely with the vehicle repair operations product local operations and supply chain teams this role provides analysis and leads changes to improve repair efficiency asset utilization and vehicle retention. The scope is global across Birds range of vehicle types including several models of escooters and ebikes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain routine vehiclerelated forecasts to inform labor and spare parts planning to inform proper staffing levels and avoid vehicle downtime
- Oversee labor productivity models to drive cost efficiencies
- Lead asset allocation strategy; inform allocation of new vehicles and rebalancing of used vehicles to maximize revenue generated per vehicle
- Manage key vehiclerelated projects including new product launches
- Provide other adhoc analysis as directed by the Vice President of Central Operations
Required Qualifications:
- 24 years of experience in a highly quantitative role. Candidates with previous experience in a strategy / planning / investment banking / consulting / business intelligence role typically have the required skills but all previous experience will be considered
- Advanced analytical reasoning skills
- Advanced data modeling skills including forecasting methodologies and sensitivity analysis
- Knowledge and experience with Google Suite tools (Sheets Slides etc.
- Proficiency selfserving data using SQL or similar tools
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and make decisions with imperfect information
- Applicants must be authorized to work without the need for current or future employersponsored work visa sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Moderate scripting skills (Python Google Apps Script or similar)
- Experience developing Tableau dashboards is a strong plus.
- Strong attention to detail across multiple functions/topics simultaneously
- Crossfunctional project leadership experience
- Experience in the micromobility industry or related industry including automotive aviation manufacturing
