The Division of Anatomic Pathology at the University of Utah University Health Care School of Medicine seeks two board certified/eligible fulltime anatomic pathologists. Fellowship training or an interest in genitourinary surgical pathology as well as board certification in molecular genetic pathology with a focus on solid tumors are desirable subspecialties. Other subspecialties may be considered if the applicants range of expertise aligns with our needs. Candidates at the level of Assistant Associate and Full Professor are encouraged to apply. The appropriate individual will participate in the teaching clinical service and research efforts of the academic department. The Division of Anatomic Pathology accessions more than 35000 surgical specimens per year amongst a group of approximately 35 subspecialized pathologists. Additionally the pathologists serve as medical directors for ARUP Laboratories a national reference laboratory owned and operated by the University of Utah Department of Pathology. Ample opportunities are available for research collaboration with individuals at the University of Utah Health Sciences Center and the Huntsman Cancer Institute.
