What its like to be a Physical Therapist at Physical Therapist
As a Physical Therapist at Fellowship Community in Whitehall youll embark on an exciting clinical journey. Youll perform initial evaluations and collaboratively develop goals with patients families and multidisciplinary teams. What you need to be successful
To thrive as a Physical Therapist at Fellowship Community in Whitehall youll need a diverse skill set. A graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS MS or DPT degree is essential along with a valid license from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or eligibility for licensure. Ideal candidates have 6 months to a year of experience in adult or geriatric rehabilitation. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are crucial for building relationships with patients and team members. Proficiency in team building problemsolving and decisionmaking will enable you to devise innovative treatment strategies.
Intermediate computer skills are necessary for maintaining clinical records and documentation. Effective clinical decisionmaking is vital for promoting desired patient outcomes. Additionally candidates should demonstrate leadership through teaching mentoring and coaching while being able to communicate effectively with individuals who may have visual or hearing impairments. Prioritizing and organizing tasks is key to addressing the demands of this rewarding role.
