Job Description
Join JPMorgan Chase as a Lead Software Engineer within our Corporate Tech Integrated Desktop team. You will play a pivotal role in an agile team dedicated to enhancing building and delivering marketleading technology products that are secure stable and scalable. As a core technical contributor you will drive critical technology solutions across multiple technical domains supporting the firms business objectives. We seek candidates with fullstack development and architectural experience in React and Java as well as expertise in managing applications on AWS. This role emphasizes handson technical leadership guiding the team in crafting innovative technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute creative software solutions employing innovative approaches to design development and technical troubleshooting.
- Produce secure highquality production code and review and debug code authored by peers.
- Identify and implement opportunities to automate or eliminate recurring issues enhancing the operational stability of software applications and systems.
- Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors startups and internal teams to assess architectural designs technical credentials and their applicability within existing systems and information architecture.
- Champion communities of practice across Software Engineering to promote awareness and adoption of cuttingedge technologies.
- Foster a team culture of diversity equity inclusion and respect.
- Design and implement intuitive responsive and visually appealing user interfaces ensuring a seamless user experience across devices and platforms.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate design wireframes into highquality code.
- Operate as a fullstack developer managing both frontend and backend development tasks to ensure seamless application integration and functionality.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Formal training or certification in Software Development concepts with 5 years of applied experience.
- Handson experience in system design application development testing and ensuring operational stability.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices with the ability to create visually appealing and userfriendly interfaces.
- Experience with frontend technologies such as HTML5 CSS3 TypeScript and JavaScript frameworks such as React
- Knowledge of CSS frameworks and modern design systems such as Material Design. Strong understanding of API protocols and standards
- Expertise in responsive design and practical cloudnative experience in AWS.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Kubernetes or Docker.
- Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods.
- Comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Working knowledge of JavaSpring.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of the financial services industry and its IT systems.
- 5 years of experience in deploying and managing applications on AWS ensuring scalability reliability and performance.
