Job Overview:

This is a technical leadership role providing direction for and of projects across our Sauces Condiments and/or Cream Cheese portfolio. The candidate will be identifying scoping and driving technical projects to meet business initiatives. This candidate should have a proven record of executing work plans and driving for results. This includes understanding the business need designing and executing tests analyzing data drawing conclusions documenting communicating results and commercializing products. Proven communication and teamwork skills are essential in this role which operates in a crossfunctional environment. The candidate must also have a strong technical background and be able to apply prior learning or scientific principles to new situations. This position requires an individual to manage multiple assignments/ tasks concurrently and demonstrate the ability complete work with minimal guidance. Exhibiting a collaborative mindset and applying innovative solutions are a must.

Job Duties:

  • This candidate should have a proven record of carrying out work plans and driving for results in a variety of exciting and sophisticated settings passionate about growth brand maintenance and quality improvement.

  • This includes understanding the business need designing and executing tests analyzing data drawing conclusions documenting communicating results and commercializing products.

  • Proven communication and teamwork skills are critical in this role which operates in a multifaceted and crossfunctional environment.

  • The candidate must also have a technical background and be able to apply prior learning or scientific principles to new situations.

  • This position requires an individual to manage multiple assignments/ tasks concurrently and demonstrate the ability to work autonomously a majority of the time.

  • Exhibiting a collaborative attitude and applying innovative solutions are a must.

  • Commercialization excellence with speed technical consumer behavior understanding and quality performance

Key Components of the role

  • Drive Innovation in packaging materials designs and process in line with strategic pipeline

  • Work with cross functional teams acting as packaging lead to drive across multiple projects from different business units/product categories

  • Effectively communicate technical information to both technical and nontechnical audiences

  • Manage multiple assignments/research projects concurrently and possess the ability to prioritize between a variety of business initiatives

  • Complete packaging testing qualification and commercialization while working closely with crossfunctional team members in laboratory and production environments

  • Translate research findings into relevant business opportunities and communicate to crossfunctional teams

  • Adapt and apply scientific principles to new situations/products

  • Specification creation and updating with attention to detail

Qualifications:

  • BS/MS in Packaging Chemical Engineering Mechanical Engineering or related field

  • 36 years of experience in Packaging Development and commercialization (which can include internships)

  • Strong understanding of key subject matter in areas such as packaging materials pkg equipment/materials interaction and packaging laboratory test methods

  • Understanding of consumer behaviors relative to brand portfolio and translate understanding to meaningful packaging solutions

  • Experience with thermoforming injection and blow molding and flexible films at minimum

  • Ability to adapt with speed and agility while being able to identify risk with clear mitigation

  • Ability to analyze problems identify root cause(s) and develop data driven solutions with business justification

  • Excellent communication influencing and problem solving skills

  • Ability to lead coach and motivate others

  • Manage multiple assignments/tasks concurrently with ability to prioritize work

  • Willingness to travel minimum of 30

New Hire Base Salary Range:

$88000.00 $110000.00

Bonus: This position is eligible for a performancebased bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.

The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidates geographic region jobrelated knowledge skills and experience among other factors
