Job Description
The Masters Level Clinician/Therapist conducts Inhome/Outpatient Individual and Family therapy with youth and their families in Broward County:
- Therapist will be working with clinical areas including but not limited to: ADHD anger issues divorce issues grief and loss and school adjustment.
- Therapist will be working with multidisciplinary teams such as the Dependency system.
- Sessions take place in the clients home school preschool after care program or in the community.
Job Duties include:
- Assigned case load of 15 17 clients.
- Manage caseload and required documentation for clients.
- Completing initial biopsychosocial assessments.
- Completing Treatment Plan and Treatment plan reviews.
- Documentation of weekly clinical sessions.
- Some case management to link client to additional resources if needed.
- Day shift: Monday Friday.
Qualifications:
- Must have a Masters degree in Social Work Mental Health Counseling Marriage & Family Therapy or Psychology from an accredited college or university.
- Applicant needs to be eligible to apply for a Registered Intern license or have a license with the Florida Department of Health in the fields of Social Work Mental Health Counseling Marriage and Family Therapy or Psychology.
- Valid Florida drivers license with fulltime access to a reliable vehicle (proof of vehicle insurance required).
- Two years of experience and Florida licensure are preferred but multiple factors will be taken into consideration. Bilingual skills a plus.
