Job Description
Merch on Demand is a rapidly expanding Amazon business that provides a makeondemand platform for creating publishing promoting and selling merchandise such as tshirts hoodies and other products. Content creators can create sell and market their merchandise using this platform.
Key job responsibilities
As an Engineer for the Merch Fulfillment Technologies team you will play a key role in shaping the definition design roadmap and development of our MakeonDemand Warehouse Management System which handles all aspects of inventory management order/shipment orchestration and production management within each Production Centers across North America Europe and Japan. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of endtoend multitier software thrive in a fastpaced environment and have experience developing web services and largescale software.
They think in terms of architecture and not just code and balance combining services to break down large problems into manageable domains and the Operational Excellence (OE) required to maintain large distributed systems that power a network WW Production Centers

3 years of noninternship professional software development experience
2 years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Bachelors Degree
3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
