Our founders recognized a need for a nonprofit to step in to assist this deserving population and we are still doing that critical work today on Oahu the Island of Hawaii. Role Overview

An Outreach Case Worker is to provide comprehensive clientcentered goaloriented process for assessing the need of a young person for particular services assisting him/her/they to obtain and complete those services and at a systems level to coordinate the provisions of services with community resources available to the young person. The individual in this position will conduct business in a professional and cordial manner that will uphold the integrity and reputation of Hale Kipa. This position maintains a thorough working knowledge of and adheres to organizational policies regulations and procedures.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelors degree in Social Work Psychology or related field preferred.
  • At least one year of experience working with youth/young adults is essential

Requirements

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in navigating electronic health record systems.
  • Consistent and timely documentation.
  • A valid drivers license.
  • Current auto insurance & safety check required.
  • Access to a vehicle for the purpose of transporting young adults.

Salary

  • $17.80 $20.00 hour
  • Retention Bonus: $500 after 1 year of employment
