What would you do as a Surveying Technician (Summer Seasonal)
As a Seasonal Surveying Technician at Ackerman Surveying and Associates youll dive into an exciting role that blends both land surveying and construction surveying projects ensuring no two days are alike. This position is perfect for those who thrive on variety and enjoy a dynamic work environment. Your day will start by maintaining and preparing equipment followed by operating advanced survey instruments to conduct field surveys for properties topography and construction layouts. Under the guidance of experienced surveying professionals youll assist in collecting valuable data and compiling records and field drawings. With onthejob training provided youll gain practical skills that could lead to a fulltime permanent position.
The seasonal role runs from May through August with opportunities extending into December making it an ideal summer job for those eager to enhance their experience in the construction surveying and engineering industry.
What were looking for in a Surveying Technician (Summer Seasonal)
To excel as a Seasonal Surveying Technician at Ackerman Surveying & Associates candidates should possess a valid drivers license. Success in this role requires strong physical stamina as the position involves prolonged periods of standing walking and working in diverse outdoor environments including active construction sites with exposure to traffic noise and dust. Ideal applicants will be comfortable digging holes and pounding stakes using hand tools showcasing their handson approach to surveying tasks.
