Job Description
A dedicated and inspiring Maths Teacher is required to join a wellregarded Independent coeducational school in Barnet. The successful candidate will cultivate a love for mathematics and develop strong analytical and problemsolving skills in students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Responsibilities
- Plan prepare and deliver engaging Maths Teacher lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Prepare students effectively for GCSE Mathematics examinations ensuring a deep understanding of mathematical principles.
- Foster a supportive and challenging classroom environment that encourages mathematical reasoning and exploration.
- Assess and monitor student progress in Maths providing clear and constructive feedback to support their mathematical journey.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Mathematics.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Maths at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- A strong and comprehensive knowledge of mathematical concepts and effective teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills capable of explaining complex mathematical ideas clearly and engagingly to students of varying abilities.
