History Teacher Outstanding School Croydon
An Outstanding Ofstedrated secondary school in the London Borough of Croydon seeks a dedicated and knowledgeable History Teacher to join their wellresourced and highly successful Humanities department. This is a fulltime permanent position teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for Key Stage 5 teaching for a suitably experienced candidate).
Responsibilities:
The successful History Teacher will plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that develop students historical skills including source analysis interpretation and argumentation. You will cover a range of historical periods preparing students for GCSE and potentially ALevel examinations. Assessing student progress rigorously providing constructive feedback and contributing to the History curriculum are key parts of this History Teacher role.
Requirements:
Applicants must be a qualified History Teacher (QTS) with a degree in History or a closely related field. Proven experience teaching History at the secondary level is essential ideally with a track record of excellent student outcomes. Strong subject knowledge a passion for history and excellent communication skills are required. We need an inspiring History Teacher.
