Job Description
Travel RN MedSurg / Telemetry
We are seeking a Registered Nurse MedSurg / Telemetry for a 13week travel/contract assignment in Burlington MA 01805.
Job Details:
- Shift: Night(12 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings respond to changes in patient status.
- Administer medications perform treatments and document nursing care accurately in EPIC.
- Assess plan implement and evaluate patient care plans.
- Float to other units as needed within the RNs scope of practice.
- Collaborate with physicians care teams and families to promote optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and postdischarge care.
- Comply with infection control and safety procedures.
Requirements:
Education: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)
Experience:
- 2 5 years of recent MS/Tele experience required
- Experience in a Trauma Level I highly preferred
- Will consider experienced candidates from Trauma Level II
- Previous travel experience required
- EPIC EMR experience required
Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) Required
Licensure: Current Massachusetts RN License Required
