Job Description
- Network and computer systems administration Familiarity with Enterprise Application Integration Broker (EAIB) support including middleware services.
- Experience with platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure cloud solutions.
- Knowledge of database solutions like MongoDB.
- Provide support for system architecture and design for various IRS IT modernization initiatives.
- Engage in system integration and troubleshooting within cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
- Ensure the security of the network and infrastructure through compliance with FISMA and other cybersecurity frameworks.
- Assist with the migration and modernization of the IRS s tax processing operations.
- Conduct operational data analysis and user group support for systems in place.
- Proven experience with EAIB middleware services such as WebMethods.
- Handson experience with AWS Azure MongoDB and cloud technologies.
- Strong background in system integration troubleshooting and platform management.
- Familiarity with IRS systems and their compliance requirements under FISMA particularly related to cybersecurity and risk management.
- Knowledge of NIST standards and other relevant federal security frameworks.
- A security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required as part of the onboarding process.
5+ years in IT security or cloud security roles required. 3+ years of hands-on experience securing Azure environments Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field or equivalent work experience required. Relevant certifications (MS Certified Cybersecurity Architect Expert, Azure Security Engineer Associate (SC-300, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM Experience with Azure Security Services (Azure Defender, MS Sentinel, Azure Key Vault, Azure Policy and Blueprints, Azure Security Center) required. Experience with Azure Active Directory (AAD), including conditional access, MFA, and identity protection required. Extensive knowledge of PIM and RBAC required Experience with NSGs, ASGs, VPN, ExpressRoute, and hybrid connectivity security required Ability to implement and monitor compliance with regulatory standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, etc. is required Extensive knowledge of threat modeling and vulnerability management, SIEM/SOAR tuning and response workflows, and security alert triage and forensics Ability to perform scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bicep, ARM templates, or Terraform Ability to perform integration with CI/CD pipelines for secure deployments (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) Ability to create and deliver security architecture reports and documentation Experience in risk assessment and mitigation strategies
