Finance Manager - Planning Reporting

If you answered YES to the above questions then this is the role for you! The House of Rohl business unit Lead Financial Analyst will:

• Collaborate and build relationships across the global House of Rohl business.
• Define and monitor metrics and KPIs relevant to improving business results.
• Establish new cadence of reporting forecasting and business reviews for the business unit.
• Take initiative create new and leave a mark on our evolving organization.

Position location/hybrid This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule based in Deerfield IL. Required onsite TuesdayThursday. 

RESPONSIBLIITIES:

• Conduct comprehensive reviews of the full P&L statement to ensure accuracy and completeness. Review profitability metrics such as Contribution Margin Operating Margin and other key indicators.
• Collaborate with BU finance to understand the underlying drivers of variances such as channel or product mix.
• Adjust financial forecasts and budgets to account for contingencies and challenges.
• Contribute to the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) build and create the consolidated financial story.
• Develop global best practices consistent processes strategic analysis for supporting the business.
• Prepare and issue consolidated global reporting. (single source of truth for planning/forecasting)
• Prepare standardized financial summaries for internal reporting Monthly Business Review (MBR) Quarterly Business Review (QBR) etc.
• Perform ad hoc analysis and lead special projects.
• Lead monthly forecast and annual plan activities.
• Prepare/consolidate global commentary for submissions to FBIN FP&A.
• Review forecast assumptions drivers and variances (NS & OI bridge) with Finance and leadership.

Qualifications :

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in a quantitative discipline (Finance Accounting Mathematics Economics Statistics Engineering Science etc. is required.
• 710 years of relevant financial analysis experience is required. 10 years of experience is preferred.
• Proven analytical technical and problemsolving skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:  

• Strong business acumen and thorough understanding of business fundamentals.
• Engage in an enterprisewide mindset provide thought leadership and demonstrate a bias towards action.
• Proficiency with Excel modeling data management and translating information into meaningful insights and presentations.
• Demonstrated success working with crossfunctional teams and business partners.
• Ability to manage priorities and deadline handle pressure and perform job responsibilities with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Highly motivated selfstarter who has had experience working in ambiguous situations.
• Ability to work well with others and as part of a team.
• Previous FP&A experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP and BPC is preferred. (or equivalent experience in comparable ERP/EPM platforms)
• Microsoft application skills. (Excel Outlook Word and PowerPoint)
• MBA CPA and/or CMA is preferre

Additional Information :

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $90000 USD $143000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range or be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to education training experience professional achievement business need and location. In addition to base salary employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance or a rolebased sales incentive plan.
