Job Description
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
ALIS is seeking a highly motivated and detailoriented Staff Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of accounting duties including the preparation of financial statements management of accounts payable and receivable and ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations.
- 3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Assist in the preparation of monthly quarterly and annual financial statements and ensure compliance with GAAP accounting standards and regulations
- Assist with monthend close activities including monthly account reconciliations and general ledger entries
- Analyze general ledger balances investigate variances review account reconciliations
- Lead daily accounting activities to ensure proper recording of transactions according to GAAP standards
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable activities
- Respond and assist with invoice questions or billing statements
- Manage credit card reconciliations
- Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities
- Assist in business system implementation projects
- Prepare schedules and support documentation for monthly reporting and annual audit
- Manage ad hoc projects as needed
- Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles and financial regulations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets. Ability to effectively manage analyze and manipulate large data sets with both solutions
- Proficiency with accounting software (Sage Intacct a plus)

Qualifications :
Qualifications:
- Experience and interest in optimizing accounting and FP&A processes
- Experience and interest in aligning data systems and reporting platforms
- BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting or Finance
- Experience and familiarity with cloudbased accounting and finance tech platforms such as Sage Intacct and Rippling
- Experience in SaaS industry

Candidates residing in border states within a fourhour drive or less will be reimbursed for mileage.
