Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Trainee Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice in Scunthorpe United Kingdom. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a rewarding career in dental healthcare and contribute to our patients wellbeing.
- Assist dentists hygienists and therapists in various dental procedures
- Prepare and maintain the dental operatory ensuring cleanliness and organization
- Sterilize and disinfect dental instruments and equipment
- Provide chairside support during treatments and examinations
- Assist in taking and developing dental xrays
- Help maintain accurate patient records and treatment information
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and posttreatment care
- Assist in inventory management of dental supplies and materials
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development programs
- Contribute to creating a positive and welcoming environment for patients
Qualifications :
About the role and practice
We have an opportunity for a Trainee Dental Nurse to join our Campbell Dental Health practice in Scunthorpe.
No previous dental experience is needed for this role. If you have a genuine interest in health and wellbeing are passionate about delivering great service and looking for a career where you can learn grow and develop then this could be a perfect fit for you.
Parttime hours 30hrs per weekTypical shifts are 8.30am5.30pm

About you
We welcome your application to our Trainee Dental Nurse vacancy if you have the following skills and qualifications:
We recommend that you hold Maths & English GCSE grade AC/49 or Key Skills/Functional Skills Level 2
Enjoy working as part of a team and are a good communicator who thrives upon delivering excellent standards of patient care
Happy to be a key player in the team providing chairside assistance ensuring that the correct materials and equipment are available during each clinical session
Comfortable learning to perform high quality dental nursing whilst assisting each dentist hygienist or therapist in all procedures
