Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in Trumbull United States. As a key member of our kitchen staff you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and ensuring smooth operations in our fastpaced food service environment.
- Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently
- Clean and sanitize dishes utensils cookware and kitchen equipment
- Ensure proper storage of clean items in designated areas
- Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area
- Assist in keeping the kitchen and storage areas tidy and sanitary
- Follow all health and safety regulations including proper handling of cleaning chemicals
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely availability of clean dishes and utensils
- Support the culinary team during busy periods as needed
- Promptly report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management
- Contribute to a positive and teamoriented work environment
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous experience in a dishwashing or kitchen role is a plus
- Ability to operate dishwashing machinery safely and effectively
- Knowledge of proper sanitation procedures and kitchen safety standards
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays as required
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies
