Job Description
Clow Valve is looking for temporary summer help for our hydrant and valve assembly departments. This is a utility position.
2nd Shift hours MondayThursday 3pm1am
Starting Wage: $24.73
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions and parts lists; gathering parts subassemblies tools and material
- Positions parts and components by using work instructions.
- Verifies specifications by testing product and visually inspecting quality.
- Assembles products using hand tools and other equipment.
- Resolves verifiable assembly problems to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources if needed.
- Palletizes and gets product ready for shipment once complete.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures rules and regulations.
- Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
- Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing production requirements as needed
Qualifications :
QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Lifting/carrying of less than 50 greater than 6 hours per day.
- Ability to work in extreme temperature conditions.
- Ability to work around machinery.
- Ability to use hand tools & do repetitive work.
- Manufacturing Experience is considered.
- Ability to wear PPE including but not limited to earplugs safety glasses metatarsal & guarded boots.
