Job Description

Major Responsibilities
Under direction with varying levels of difficulty and high degrees of latitude for independent action the developer will design develop test and maintain advanced GIS applications and software that support the planning management and operation needs of Parks and recreational facilities.
Design develop and implement new modules/applications and maintain and enhance existing applications using Microsoft Power Apps Microsoft Dynamics 365 and ESRI ArcGIS.
Utilize Python for scripting and automation tasks within the GIS cloud and enterprise environments. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to GIS applications.
Create and implement Structured Query Language (SQL) on MS SQL Server.
Promote a collaborative team environment and work closely with colleagues to achieve business objectives.
Collaborate with stakeholders (e.g. business stakeholders product owners project managers and end users) to understand functional and nonfunctional requirements.
Investigate and propose solutions to development and design problems.
Conduct spatial analysis and generate reports to support decisionmaking processes. Develop dashboards and visualizations to present findings effectively.
Prepare technical documentation including software design evaluation plans test results and technical manuals.

Qualifications :
1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in computer science engineering human computer interaction interactive media digital and graphics design data visualization communication or a related field and four years of satisfactory fulltime experience related to the area(s) required by the particular position and a specialization in a relevant technology process methodology and/or domain; or
2. An associate degree from an accredited college in computer science engineering human computer interaction interactive media digital and graphics design data visualization communication or a related field and six years of satisfactory fulltime experience related to the area(s) required by the particular position and a specialization in a relevant technology process methodology and/or domain; or
3. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and eight years of satisfactory fulltime experience related to the area(s) required by the particular position and a specialization in a relevant technology process methodology and/or domain; or
4. Education and/or experience which is equivalent to 1 2 or 3 above.
