Job Description
This is a permanent fulltime position working a 37.5 hour week Monday Friday 07:00 15:00.
- Ensuring priority tasks are carried out efficiently and effectively
- The labelling of sample bottles contact and settle plates
- Preparation of Acid
- Printing of DPD labels
- Printing and checking of manifests (before dispatch)
- Unpack orange boxes and receive samples onto AIS LIMS
- Ensuring ice packs are readily available for Orange Boxs
- Mixing packing and dispatch of test soils
- Printing of test soil paperwork
- Ensure relevant spreadsheets are kept up to date
- Tracking of Orange Boxes in and out of Stores
- Packing Orange Boxs (after initial check against manifest)
- The maintenance of a clean and tidy workplace:
- Test Soli Room
- Packing/ Dispatch Benches
- Removal of cardboard/ rubbish from stores area
- Sweeping & Mopping
- Booking in received stock items
- Stock Takes/ Rotation of stock
- Making up of PPE Kits
- Orange Box suitability checks
- Cleaning/ wiping down of Orange Boxes
Qualifications :
- Previous experience working within a stores/ dispatch related role
- Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Confident working with a variety IT Systems for example Microsoft Office
