Job Description
Reporting to the Outlet Maitred responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Provide friendly and engaging service to guests
- Assist guests with beverage menu items in an informative and helpful manner
- Mix drinks and maintain beverage stock levels according to guidelines
- Have a thorough knowledge of beverage lists and promotions
- Be familiar with all menu items garnishes contents and preparation methods
- Follow outlet policies procedures and service standards
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
- Previous serving or bartending experience in a high volume fine dining/upscale restaurant or lounge required 23 years minimum.
- Certification in Bartending an asset
- TIPS Certification Required
- Strong classic cocktails knowledge
- Service oriented team player flexible in high paced environment and able to handle pressure with grace.
- Must be able to complete all physical aspects of the job without restriction i.e. Lift 25 lbs at a time stand and walk for up to 8 hours.
- Previous point of sale system experience an asset
Additional Information :
Schedules: Mix of day shifts evenings shifts Weekends and Holidays.
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
- Constant standing and walking throughout shift
- Occasional lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs
- Occasional kneeling pushing pulling
