General Summary.

The Quality Assurance II is responsible for assisting the Quality Assurance function in daily operations. They will assist in collection of data reporting monitoring and auditing to ensure compliance and drive other Quality related metrics. This position is responsible for product safety quality and legality.

This position will be responsible for..

  • Support the collection of data and analyze for regulatory reporting coordinate and develop reports and assessment tools to verify compliance.
  • Ensure quality metrics are adequately captured analyzed the communicated to management for improvement activities.
  • Assist in the investigation and resolve product specification related problems.
  • Support other quality and compliance related activities as needed.
  • File and archive quality records.
  • Participate in internal audits.
  • Monitor the internal audit process to ensure compliance with the schedule including verification of any followup audits commitments or corrective actions.
  • Provide support in anticipation of and during audits including gathering documents and quality records.
  • Assist the Quality Assurance Manager with tracking and trending of KPIs quality metrics etc. to determine if corrective actions need to be implemented.
  • Assists in maintaining processes that support the QA function of consistency.
  • Ensures a high standard of performance and conformance to Quality Management systems.
  • Supports QA department activities on a daily basis.
  • Support inventory control functions which will include cycle counting and reporting.
  • Processing returns; completing the necessary actions in the system and collaborating with the customer and operations teams to determine how returns will be handled (whether through destruction or reintegration into active inventory).
  • Support the repack process which involves removing multiple SKUs from overpacks consolidating them into repack packages and placing them back into active inventory for shipment to customers.
  • Performs additional tasks as assigned with minimal supervision.

Education/Experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; some college helpful.
  • A minimum of 35 years of Quality Assurance experience in GMP or similarly regulated facility.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Proficient computer skills with MS Word Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Customer service driven.
  • Strong team player.
