- Completion of a 2year technology diploma in Landscape Technology Horticulture Forestry or a related field (equivalent work experience may be considered)
- 2 years experience coordinating or supervising work focused on managing natural areas or parkland (such as tree stands naturalized grasslands wetlands constructed wetlands or storm management facilities)

Skills required for success:
- Knowledge of turf operations and snow and ice control techniques practices and terminology
- Ability to solve problems and make independent decisions
- Extensive knowledge of best practices/standard methods; practices materials tools equipment and other disciplines related to the operational area
- Extensive knowledge of OH&S legislation and Enviso
- Ability to utilize software for the completion of reports records etc.
- Ability to critically analyze issues to make decisions recommend viable and effective solutions and summarize and manage information
- Welldeveloped leadership team building skills and proven ability to problem solve in a creative way
- Excellent communication skills verbally and in business / technical writing
- Proven customer service skills
- Experience with SAP Google Suite and ArcGIS

In the summer this position is responsible for the claims response notification followup routing and turf inventory verification validating of labor materials and equipment and tracking of safetyrelated activities within the Turf Operations team.
In the winter this role is responsible for the claims response notification followup routing adjustments and tracking oversight within the APR team.
What will you do
- Assess areas for operational needs and relay to operational staff
- Coordination and implementation of route maps
- Monitoring of route completion site progress
- Work with and directly provide guidance to the Team Leader and Manager
- Perform visual and physical inspections to ensure all the work is compliant and in accordance with City standards and direction
- Prepare work reports maintain records of inspection and perform other duties as required
- Identify and confirm City maintained inventory and coordinate changes with the routing team
- Respond to internal and external inquiries notifications and complaints
- Work with operations to provide solutions for problem areas
- Provide evaluations of damaged sites and remediation recommendations
- Review damage claims and gather information required to verify legitimacy of claims. Prepare response for legal team to review
- Complete site inspection paperwork and record progress plans
- Manage and distribute new work requests
- Provide a breakdown of services available
- Create costing for provided services analyze and provide summaries and variance explanations
- Create a summary of yearoveryear services rendered provide potential service level adjustments for the upcoming season
- Administrative work in regard to tracking and site inspections
- Update of online tracking and client calendar (Google Suite)
- Ensure alignment between timesheets and recoverable accounts
- Manage the BSA email with new client requests
- Inventory control of small equipment
- Review safetyrelated documentation and requirements
- Perform other duties as required
