Job Description
A friendly and wellregarded primary school in Havering is seeking a fulltime Year 2 Teacher to start as soon as possible. This is a fantastic chance for a passionate teacher to inspire and support students in their educational journey with the possibility of the role becoming permanent after the summer term.
About the Role
- Position: Year 2 Teacher
- Location: Havering
- Contract: FullTime FixedTerm (until the summer term with potential for permanency)
- Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to meet the diverse needs of Year 2 students.
- Assess students progress and provide targeted interventions to support their learning.
- Help prepare students for endofkeystage assessments ensuring they achieve their potential.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel confident and motivated to learn.
- Collaborate with the teaching team to implement effective teaching strategies.
- Maintain strong communication with parents and carers regarding student progress and welfare.

What Were Looking For
- Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience: Prior experience teaching Key Stage 1 especially Year 2 is highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong understanding of the National Curriculum effective classroom management and excellent communication skills.
- Passion: A dedicated teacher who is enthusiastic about making a difference in the lives of young learners.
