Job Description
Join our team of valued teachers at our sessional kindergarten in Footscray
ECT for 4yearold Waratah Group
- Experienced sessional kindergarten teacher needed for large and complex group
- Sessions Wed & Fri
- 24.75 hours per week with sessions on Wednesday & Friday
- Roster Wed & Fri 8.00 am to 5.00 pm with planning on another day
- VECTEA terms & conditions
- Paid time off over term breaks (pro rata)
- Start Date: beginning of Term 3 21 July 2025
- Maternity Leave cover with options to transfer to other Sparkways kindergartens in 2026
- We will NOT be considering provisionally registered teachers
Billy Button Childrens Centre is a large communityfocused early learning and care service located next to Footscray City Primary School. The service opened in 2022 providing highquality education to support great life chances for kindergarten of three and fouryearolds. In addition the service offers long day care and provides maternal and child health services..

Experienced sessional kindergarten teacher needed for complex group
- Are you a qualified and higly experienced Early Childhood Teacher
- Do you have Full VIT registration
- Do you have practical expertise in including children with additional needs inlcuding children with trauma backgrounds
- Do you have the skills to role model excellence in teaching scaffolding and documenting childrens learning in play based child led pedagogy
- Can you contribute to a childcentred friendly team
- Do people describe you as positive and energetic
