Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Regular and predictable attendance is essential for this position
- Ability to establish strong relationships with customers and fellow employees
- Must have a customer service attitude and remain positive in all interactions
- Utilize precision millwright skills and knowledge to disassemble inspect diagnose and repair typical petrochemical rotating equipment including pumps blowers compressors etc.
- Assemble new rotating equipment for shipment to customers including precision equipment assembly coupling and motor installation equipment alignment guarding installation etc.
- Properly document work scope asfound/asleft repair information etc.
- Ability and initiative to potentially manage multiple projects with little oversight
- Ability to work independently in a fastpaced environment
- Available to work overtime and weekends as deemed necessary
- Able and willing to work oncall and off shift as required by customers and/or management.
Certifications Education and Experience:
- Associate Degree NCCER or Trade School in craft preferred but not required.
- Minimum 3 years of handson experience in maintenance repair and/or assembly of typical petrochemical rotating equipment; Will consider lesser experience depending upon background exhibited knowledge level etc.
- Indepth handson knowledge of typical petrochemical rotating equipment including (but not limited to) pumps blowers agitators compressors etc.
- Experience with equipment component balancing preferred specifically pump impeller balancing assembled rotor balancing etc.
- Experience with manual machining activities preferred specifically lathe and milling machine.
