Position Summary: General Sales Manager/General Manager

Were looking for an experienced and driven leader to oversee our new and preowned vehicle sales departments. As General Sales Manager/General Manager you will play a pivotal role in driving performance mentoring your team and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hire train and lead sales department managers (new and used vehicles)

  • Set and track monthly and annual sales objectives and profitability goals

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for inventory promotions and advertising

  • Monitor performance metrics commission structures and team productivity

  • Ensure compliance with dealership policies procedures and industry standards

  • Manage and maintain vehicle merchandising and showroom presentation

  • Conduct weekly sales training and meetings to drive ongoing development

  • Handle customer concerns and ensure high satisfaction levels

  • Collaborate with the Executive management team to continuously improve operations

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar leadership role within a dealership

  • Luxury automotive experience preferred

  • Strong background in team development performance management and sales operations

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and dealership CRM/software tools

  • Exceptional communication leadership and negotiation skills

  • Deep understanding of federal state OSHA and environmental regulations

  • Willingness to complete a background check and drug screening
