Job Description
This is a fulltime position and requires a TS/SCI/Full Scope Polygraph Clearance.
2HB Incorporated is seeking a Systems Engineerto support its government customer in Tysons VA .
introduction
The US Governments organization is an IT Service Provider that provides IT support for the US Government and US Government partner IT systems and networks in multiple locations. The US Government requires highly skilled technical support to provide onsite Tier 1 2 and 3 IT services and IT requirements support. The Candidate is required to travel to various US Governments site(s) to assist in resolving mission IT systems networks hardware desktop and applications issues.Work requirementS
- The Candidate shall provide end to end system engineering operations and maintenance (O&M) support to the US Government and US Government partner mission specific and networks at multiple US Government sites.
- The Candidate shall capture IT requirements identify and deliver complex network architecture solutions per US Governments mission IT requirements.
- The Candidate shall serve as an IT support liaison for US Government mission systems and IT requirements.
- The Candidate shall interact with the appropriate stakeholders including internal and US Government partner service providers to fulfill requirements.
- The Candidate shall provide daily troubleshooting to ensure mission IT systems and networks are operational.
- The Candidate shall provide Tier 1 Tier 2 and Tier 3 IT support on US Governments mission IT systems and networks.
- The Candidate shall interact with the appropriate service providers to resolve IT systems connectivity and network issues.
- The Candidate shall provide onsite mission IT support for servers and desktops and account administration.
- The Candidate shall perform data transfer requests.
- The Candidate shall assist with deploying COTS/GOTS applications to meet mission requirements.
- The Candidate shall provide afterhours support if a situation warrants.
- The Candidate shall assist mission partners to obtain the required smartcards CAC cards and tokens for mission IT system login.
- The Candidate shall assist US Governments mission partners in obtaining security approvals to bring IT hardware such as laptops scanners or printers to the US Governments site.
- The Candidate shall manage and track mission IT asset inventory on all mission IT equipment and maintain uptodate inventory records.
- The Candidate shall maintain documentation to include location of users IP address distribution how to guides or diagrams.
required skills and demonstrated experience
The Contractor shall have the following required skills certifications and demonstrated experience:- Demonstrated experience providing subject matter level of knowledge skills and expertise to end to end system engineering and O&M support.
- Demonstrated experience capturing IT requirements.
- Demonstrated experience identifying and delivering complex network architecture solutions.
- Demonstrated experience working across multiple organizations with competing priorities to resolve IT systems and networks issues improve system workflow and provide engineering solutions to meet mission requirements while adhering to security policies and plans.
- Demonstrated experience providing support to facilitate enable and drive IT system requirements to fruition.
- Demonstrated experience analyzing the current state of systems and networks ensuring protections and privileges within identifying future needs and providing recommendations.
- Demonstrated experience communicating complex technical concepts requirements and technical information to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Demonstrated experience responding to and resolving inquiries regarding software and hardware operation.

Skills and demonstrated experiences that are highly desired but not required to perform the work include:- Demonstrated experience with IT service delivery processes.
- Demonstrated experience working in a team environment and with all levels of management.
