Job Description

Neonatology NP Opportunity in Western NC 24 Hour Call Shifts

Medicus has partnered with a hospital in western North Carolina with an opening for a Neonatology Nurse Practitioner to provide locum coverage.

Location: Jacksonville NC

Opportunity Details:

  • Schedule: 24hour inhouse call 8 shifts per month
  • Daily Census: 14 patients
  • Must be adept at NRP
  • Will attend highrisk births including emergency csections
  • Will respond to neonatal RRT and codes
  • Procedures: Medication administration insertion of lines intubation assistance
  • Board certification required
  • Paid travel & lodging: Hotel mileage
  • The provider rate of pay is $115/hr.

Description

Job: Neonatology Nurse Practitioner

8 shifts per month in house call

23 days during week 1 out of every three weekends.

Adept at NRP All of the responsibilities embedded in neonatology resuscitations.

Attend high risk births including unplanned emergency csections.

Admit newborns and care of newborns in house do orders.

Respond to neonatal RRT and codes.

Medication administration insertion of lines assistance with intubation.

Package baby for transport to another hospital.

Stabilize babies.
