Position Description:
We are looking for a Natural Gas Engineer to join our ICE Team to improve infrastructure in the WilkesBarre PA area. The candidate must have a bachelors degree in Civil Engineering and 5 plus years of similar work experience. Professional Engineer license or PE candidate is preferred. The candidate must also be selfmotivated work well with others and have excellent writing organizational and communication skills. A flexible hybridremote work schedule is available.
Typical responsibilities include:
Experience with the design and construction of natural gas pipelines
Monitor task budget and progress
Work with and mentor junior design team
Prepare computergenerated natural gas pipeline and mechanical working drawings
Generate bill of materials
Ability to work independently
Create estimated time requirements for projects
Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors
Conduct onsite field walks as needed
Prepare project status and other reports
Assist with the preparation of proposals
Attend client public project and staff meetings including client progress plan review preconstruction etc.
Attend seminars and/or training classes
Grow and maintain excellent client relations
Maintain a safe working environment
Education:
Bachelors Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required
Skills/Experience:
5 plus years of experience required
Professional Engineer License or ability to obtain one is preferred
