Job Description

Revenue Assurance Officer is responsible for establishing and implementing a comprehensive evaluation of a companys revenue cycle to ensure proper revenue are realized usage of the revenue and bloke leakages. Periodically reconcile the customer account totals with the general ledger accounts and ensure that the customer is current with all their accountabilities due to company.

  • Ensure the accuracy of invoices to be created and prepared correctly according to executed contracts (key accounts)
  • Prepare the monthly revenue accruals for sending to General Accounting
  • Oversee daytoday operation & handle escalations
  • Discover training needs and provide coaching
  • Investigate and resolve any disputes raised by the clients regarding monthly billings
  • Perform the monthly account reconciliations and general ledger activities
  • Work with crossfunctional teams in resolving financial and revenue related issues.
  • Resolve critical issues for clients by researching and gathering information about payment transactions lease terms and contract related items
  • Ensure government regulatory compliance and documentation
  • Analyze data that cuts across billing provisioning to identify areas of leakages and process gaps and recommend strategies for blocking them
  • Perform other functions as may be assigned by his/her superiors
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration
  • Must have 3year experience from similar field
  • Proficiency in the use of any accounting system preferably NetSuite
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word Excel PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of revenue related risks & internal controls accounting principles and procedures
  • Customer Service and Leadership Skills
  • Analytical and Reporting Skills
  • Great Attention to Details
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment
