Job Description
The Summer Assistant is responsible for The Summer Farm Assistant is responsible for assisting with daytoday operations of farm production and supports the Farm Manager in using sustainable production methods in all operational aspects. This is a Term Limited position approximately 3 months over the summer. The position will work approx. 3040 hours a week ideally starting in early May and ending in September.
Education
- None required
Experience:
- Desire to learn and practice sustainable farming using methods that emphasize biodiversity and soil health.
Competencies:
- Strong multitasking organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Ability to remain flexible and open minded
- Willingness to interact in a positive manner with healthcare team members community members volunteers and hospital patients
- Job duties as otherwise assigned
- Ability to uphold and comply with The Farm at Augusta Health Standards of Appearance.
