Were growing! Join the Dahl Automotive team at our Reconditioning Center in Onalaska WI as a Used Vehicle Technician! You get guaranteed work for internal repairs to get our used cars on the lot ready for sale. This is a nonguestfacing location and you will have plenty to do to earn a solid income for you and your family. The pay range for this position is $62000$90000 per year depending on experience productivity and certifications! This is a MondayFriday position no weekends!
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough inspections on vehicles and accurately suggest and execute repair work.
- Testdrive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Diagnose maintain and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine transmission electrical steering suspension brakes air conditioning etc.
- Communicate directly with the Reconditioning Manager about any additional services needed.
- Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
Qualifications
- Previous technician experience
- ASE Certification preferred
- Alevel qualifications including Diagnostic Electrical and Engine Repair
- Broad knowledge of new vehicle technologies
- Ambitious hardworking presence in a team environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic computer skills
- Positive friendly attitude along with a customer service mentality
- Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
- Ability to collaborate effectively
- Ability to learn new technology repair and service procedures and specifications
- Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
