Are you happiest when you are cooking Come and work in a brandnew kitchen at Meadowview of Johnston as aFullTime Cook! Our senior care campus just opened in 2022 in Johnston which is vibrant and known for annual festivals music and togetherness.
Join our team where you can use your skills to create delicious and nutritious meals for our residents. There are no late nights in our kitchen! Your passion for cooking nutritious and appetizing meals will be highly valued by our residents. You will be able to build great relationships with our residents as you may serve your meals to them on occasion.
There are FullTime could be full time 2 shifts 73:30 and 3 106:30 (preferred)
Part Time:2 shifts 73:30 and then another 3 shifts 106:30
Pay:$1719

What does a Cook do
- Deliver exceptional service to residents by providing fast friendly and excellent customer service to all guests.
- Prepare and cook all meals to ensure adherence to recipes and quality standards.
- Observe and report on low stock or highdemand choices.
- Observe and report on resident change of condition or changes in ability.
- Participate in meetings and required training to maintain regulatory standards of food service at the community.
- Inspect kitchen for conformance to government and company safety and sanitation requirements.
- Will also be serving residents half of the time.
- Previous cooking experience in senior living is a plus.
What does a Cook require
- Prior commercial cooking/ food preparation experience preferred.
- Selected candidates are required to pass background checks.
- Must be able to read and follow recipes.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced changing environment.
- Ability to stand for length of shift.
- Baking experience a plus!
