Position at Dr. Boyds Pet Resort San Diego
Dr. Boyds Pet Resort San Diego is seeking a Veterinary Client Service Representative to join our team!
Schedule: 40 hours a week 10hour shifts. Day shifts or early swing shifts
Hourly Wage: $18$22/hr. depending on experience and skillset
In this role you are an ambassador to our clients and your main focus is to ensure that our clients needs are met in a timely manner while demonstrating a sincere compassion for our clients and patients. You are the liaison between the client and the medical staff and are responsible for maintaining a smooth and efficient workflow between the front office and the technical staff. You will be performing public relations and clerical responsibilities and must be detailoriented and work well under pressure.
Essential Job Functions:
- Greet clients and their pets with prompt professionalism and courtesy
- Enter/Update client information in Practice Management system
- Admit incoming patients
- Present treatment plans & invoice for services
- Discharge outgoing patients
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Accurately take client payments
- Maintain confidential medical records
- Maintain all aspects of work place organization and cleanliness
- Answer incoming phone calls
- Scan and file medical records
- Fax/ Email information to client and primary veterinarian medical staff
- Facilitate obtaining medical records from primary veterinarians
- Provide options to clients and obtains signatures on corresponding legal forms
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisors and Management team
Experience & Skills Requirements:
- 12 years of veterinary clinic/hospital experience required
- Veterinary Emergency or Urgent Care experience highly preferred
- Ability to work weekend days
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ezyVet experience preferred
