We are able to provide care for long term care residents and postacute rehab patients. Nursepatient ratios vary depending on the shift and the population you will be serving. Each designated unit focuses on patient specialties such as general rehab neuro rehab traumatic brain injuries and cancer. Cedar Street offers various programs for residents to participate in including music therapy expressive arts and a garden room.
The Rehabilitation & Nursing Center Cedar was designed with the word home in mind. The home is more spacious than the previous 52yearold Fuller Street facility and boasts many new amenities including four spacious interior courtyards; a new dining room; onsite dialysis den; art room private and semiprivate rooms with their own window restroom and shower; modern furnishings; and new technology to make these community members feel at home.
The responsibilities of this position include planning implementing/conducting and evaluating appropriate activity opportunities for patients. This role supports the health care team in promoting therapeutic services and/or programs. This role is also involved in conducting/implementing community and hospital based programs or special events as designated.
