Description
- Manage a team of Program managers to deliver on portfolio of projects
- Lead cross functional teams to deliver programs on time with high quality and maximize customer value
- Manage and influence stakeholders for solution delivery budget revenue and scope management
- Manage the portfolio budget with target & actuals
- Drive improvements in the product development processes to increase product quality program cycle time and development costs
- Ensure programs are staffed for success and present tradeoffs to leadership to ensure smooth portfolio
- Drive team engagement by managing and mentoring program managers in the team
- Implement and improve Agile development processes and tools into existing programs/processes
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and partner with vendors as required by the program
Required:
- 10 years of Hardware and firmware Program Management experience with average program budget of $5M
- 6 years of people management (managing program managers)
- Good understanding of product release process and PLM tools like Oracle ematrix.
- Bachelors degree in any engineering discipline
- Experience with managing scope schedule budget and quality of projects
- Experience in Agile product development
- Excellent verbal and written communications
- Change agent who is a positive organizational influence
Preferred:
- PMP or PfMP Certification highly desired
- Implementation history of complex program / portfolio releases
