Description

MiniCircuits designs manufactures and distributes integrated circuits modules and subsystems for highperformance radio frequency (RF) and microwave design sales and manufacturing locations in over 30 countries MiniCircuits products are used in a range of wired and wireless communications applications. Our products are also used in detection measurement and imaging applications including military communication guidance and electronic countermeasure systems commercial scientific military land sea and aircraft; automotive systems medical systems and industrial test equipment.

MiniCircuits sells its products to over 20000 customers globally through our direct sales force applications engineering staff sales representatives as well as through our extensive website.

Position Summary:

As the marketing manager for both the Portable Test Equipment (PTE) & High Power Amplifier (HPA) product lines primary responsibility 60 is to market existing & new products to drive awareness for transactional business capture sales synergies by crossDBU product lines and marketing/managing product promotions/marcom plans and all gotomarket plans for products to achieve revenue forecasts. Secondary responsibilities 40 include creating and managing business and product solution strategies to deliver revenue growth market share expansion and diversification. Key responsibilities include: defining aligning and executing marketing plans for product lines to drive revenue growth; defining communicating validating with key customers and overseeing MiniCircuits 35 product and technology roadmaps and product line strategy; developing product line revenue forecasts and driving the sales organization to achieve the same.

Salary Range:$175000 $210000 per year
Job Function:
  • Work with the Marketing Communications team to develop messaging and promotional activities to position products to end markets and customers.
  • Execute marketing programs in collaboration with the Marketing Communications team.
  • Drive definition/specifications and business case for new products proposed on the product roadman including product positioning product price/volume/ramp and guide these products through the Product Generation Process (PGP).
  • Drive development of new products and launch to end customers including product datasheets and other marketing promotional literature/web content.
  • Work with global marketing managers regional sales managers customers and development teams to identify market needs and translate these into specific product requirements for new product development with prioritized features creating customerdriven product roadmaps.
  • Maintain a SWOT analysis of the PTE/HFA market and use it to find competitive advantages that keep MC wellpositioned.
  • Supports department initiatives technology roadmap creation and crossorganization/sector involvement.
  • Knowledgeable regarding market trends and direction from VOC competitive activity and publication review.
  • Manage product pricing.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering required; Masters Degree preferred.
  • 12 years experience in a multidisciplined engineering environment.
  • Product experience within some or all the following areas: High Power Amplifiers > 10 Watts < 10GHz). Test equipment such as mechanical/solidstate switches digital step attenuators power sensors signal generators and frequency counters.
  • Strong knowledge of basic RF components & technologies a good view of the RF accessories competitive landscape and an understanding of the addressable markets and applications.
  • Experience developing and aligning product and technology roadmaps.
  • Ability to identify problems and solutions that others might miss and provide detailed insight and constructive feedback into problems and complex situations.
  • Works effectively and makes progress with limited or partial information. State assumptions and put forth a workable starting point to address the problem.
  • Defines requirements & resources needed to implement new ideals approaching innovation with a practical taskoriented mindset converting ideas into actionable plans.
  • Communicates effectively: able to express ideas and information in a clear and concise manner tailoring the message to fit the interests and needs of the audience.

Physical Demands:

The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
