The Position:

  • Assist the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations across multiple outlets.
  • Supervise and support kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality hygiene and safety.
  • Contribute to menu planning and including catering and caf offerings.
  • Oversee stock levels inventory control and ensure consistent presentation and portioning.
  • Train staff enforce safety protocols and step in for the Executive Chef when needed.

The Person:

  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or senior role in a highvolume kitchen with Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety HACCP procedures and a passion for sustainability and local produce.
  • Excellent leadership team building communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Acts with integrity honesty and fairness towards colleagues suppliers and customers.
  • Adaptable willing to learn and grow and able to remain calm in highpressure situations.
