Security Guard Supervisor
Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for a Security Guard Supervisor for JBS that is located at our Mason Ohio plant who will oversee security operations manage guard staff ensure safety protocols are followed monitor surveillance and respond to incidents to protect the facility employees and assets.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing a secure entrance and perimeter for the facility
- Learn all the jobs of your immediate staff.
- Ensure completion and accuracy of reports done by staff
- Complete daily and weekly reports as needed
- Supervise train and evaluate performance of staff; implement disciplinary procedures when necessary.
- Resolve employee conflicts and issues promptly and objectively.
- Direct communication with company and outside services
- Work in the Order Management System/Shop Floor
- Work with the Plant Shipping/Shag Service/Traffic
- Work with the Warehouse Department to coordinate shipping date times and locations
- Maintain logs for inbound and outbound trucks
- Attend meetings as scheduled
- Reports to Safety Manager
- May assume other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous security related experience preferred but not required
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred but not required
- 10key and computer skills required
- Ability to handle conflict
- Ability to think critically and problem solve
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Communication skillswritten and verbal
- Ability to speak multiple languages is preferred but not required
- Selfstarter and Team player
- Strong leadership / management skills
- Must be able to demonstrate effective people skills
- Reliable attendance record
- Must be able to pass a Background Check
- Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
- As a salaried position with the company you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities to attend Company events or as a representative of the Company in other situations. Unless otherwise specified in this posting the amount of travel may vary and the most qualified candidate must be willing and able to travel as business needs dictate.
The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
- Benefits: Vision Medical and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
- Paid Time Off: sick leave vacation and 6 company observed holidays;
- 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
- Base salary range of $46342$56305
- Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Companys annual bonus plan the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program; and
