Job Description
Personnel Source is now hiring a Journeyman Electrician for a Modular Construction site in Aumsville OR.
Requirements for the Journeyman Electrician:
- Must hold a State of Oregon General Journeyman or Supervisor electrical license.
- Proficient in the operation and use of equipment fabrication of components and materials used by the electrical crew.
- Ability to accurately interpret construction drawings.
- Subject to cuts ses splinters and burns due to the tools and materials used.
- Occasionally required to wear protective equipment or clothing that may be heavy or uncomfortable.
- Work in confined workspaces occasionally (small areas or shared with other crews).
- Required to wear assigned PPE at all times when on the production floor.
Responsibility of the Journeyman Electrician:
- Plans and performs jobs of installing a variety of electrical equipment such as control panels switchboards junction boxes switches etc.
- Connects and disconnects electric powered machines.
- Diagnoses electrical trouble.
- Works from wiring diagrams.
- Uses hand and power tools.
- Keep electrical area clean and tools organized.
- Works independently and may provide direction to an apprentice or to less experienced electricians.
Shift Schedule:
M F 6:00AM 4:00PM
