Job Description

Front Desk Agent

Location: 506 On the River Inn Woodstock Vermont

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Front Desk Attendant to oversee guest services and ensure a positive customer experience. Responsibilities include greeting guests managing checkin/checkout procedures handling inquiries and supervising front desk operations. The role also involves financial transactions inventory management and maintaining safety and cleanliness standards. Ideal candidates are committed to excellence detailoriented and possess strong communication and problemsolving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist guests with checkin/checkout
  • Handle reservations and inquiries
  • Manage cash transactions and maintain accurate records
  • Provide local information and recommendations
  • Address guest complaints promptly
  • Ensure safety and cleanliness of public areas
  • Train and supervise front desk staff
  • Provide friendly and attentive service to our guests

Qualifications:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • Ability to handle financial transactions accurately
  • Ability to use computers email Microsoft Word and Excel and property management systems.
  • Experience in hospitality or related field preferred
  • Stand and move around for most of your shift
