St. Ambrose University welcomes qualified candidates to apply for a fulltime 12month Academic Fieldwork Coordinator clinical track faculty position in the Occupational Therapy Department. The successful applicant will coordinate all levels of fieldwork experience and advise and teach in the Doctor of Occupational Therapy Program beginning June 1 2025. The Occupational Therapy Department is wellestablished and focused on educating ethical innovative and sensitive occupational therapists who will serve in support the occupational participation of others. Our department values reflective clientcentered practice professionalism scholarship and service.
A doctoral degree in occupational therapy or a related field is required. A minimum of three years clinical experience and eligibility for licensure in the state of Iowa are required. Those with experience managing field placements and supervising students are especially encouraged to apply.
The Occupational Therapy Department is one of seven health science departments within the College of Health and Human Services. Multiple interprofessional learning events and numerous outreach services enhance the experience of students faculty and staff in Occupational Therapy and promote a culture of teamwork and advocacy for health and wellness in the Quad Cities and beyond.
